END TIME!!! Yahoo Boy Smashes MOTHER’S HEAD With Plank, Iron… In An Attempt To Kill Her For MONEY RITUALS

The police in Lagos state have arrested 29 year old Taiwo Akinola pictured above for trying to kill his mother, Alice Akinola so as to further his cyber fraud business ( yahoo.com) to the bloody or ritual level (yahoo plus).

A statement by the police command spokesperson, CSP Chike Oti, says Taiwo who lives with his mother at No.2 Raji Ajanaku street, Alaja Road, Ayobo, Lagos, is a staunch member of the notorious Aiye confraternity.

At about 8am yesterday Sunday August 19th, Taiwo went to his mother’s provision store in front of their apartment and told her to meet him inside the house for an important discussion and at same time sent his nephew, Faruk to go buy him a white handkerchief and a stick of cigarette.

As soon as his mother entered the house, the suspect attacked her, smashing her head with a plank, pressing iron and a UPS charger to ensure she didn’t survive the ferocious attack.

When Faruk returned from the errand, he didn’t see his grandmother in the shop so he went into the house only to see the poor woman lying in a pool of blood. Shocked by what he saw, the small boy raised the alarm which attracted neighbours to the scene.

They called the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ayobo Division who arrived the scene with his team and promptly arrested the suspect and secured the scene for further investigation by the police forensic experts attached to the Homicide section SCIID Panti, Yaba .

The victim was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment and was found to be hanging onto life. Right now, the doctors are battling to revive Mrs Alice Akinola presently unconscious Meanwhile the CP has paid the initial hospital cost which enabled the doctors to commence treatment.

During a brief interrogation, the suspect disclosed that he was asked to kill his mother in order to have more money. When his room was searched, the following exhibits were recovered in it, viz:

1. Two calabashes with one containing human skull and the other, a mixture of dark concoction;
2. A plank perforated with nails and stained with blood;
3. A pressing iron stained with blood;
4. A white handkerchief with which he wanted to scoop the victim’s blood;
5. A bottle containing oil and labelled Back To Sender;

The Commissioner of Police calls on Lagosians to rise against all forms of crime and criminality. He added that the Command defeated the Badoo cult group with the help of people who provided credible and timely information to the police . He added that the time has come to root out the street cult groups. He notes that complacency is not an option in the face of threat to peace and security posed by these nefarious associations.

FCMB staff abscond with N500m customers’ deposits

In what some industry observers have termed the biggest theft of customers’ deposit, nine members of staff of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) have made away with a total sum of N500 million, and there whereabouts remain unknown.

National Daily gathered that the Nigeria Police have secured an arrest warrant from a magistrate court in Lagos to effect the arrest of the suspected fraudulent staff fingered in the heist.

The names of the bankers as declared wanted by the Police include: Linda Natufe Chekwube, Matthew Akpan Benny, Juwon Faromoh, Oluwasoji Ajetumobi, Ogunlaja Olasukanmi Ganiyu, Oshiojum Chibuzor Wilson, Akanaga Christian Chika and Nelson Omuzagha and Adeyemi Omitogun.

The suspects have been found to fleece depositors of their earned money through numerous crafty means. Ogunlaja and Chekwube were found to have fraudulently authorised overdraft totalling three hundred and eighty eight million naira (N388 million).

Another duo was discovered to have fraudulently transferred customers’ monies to other accounts and closed the accounts without consent or authorisation from the accounts’ holders while others blatantly stole customers’ deposits undetected by the bank, which is fast becoming a safe haven for fraudsters perpetrating sophisticated scams.

Recall that recently, a staffer of the bank, Adejare Sonde (now relieved of his job), was arraigned on 12-count charge bordering on stealing N124 million of a depositor’s account.

The case was instituted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission at a State High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Sonde was accused of using his position as the account officer to a micro-finance bank to steal N124 million from the customer’s account.

The petitioner, EFCC, alleged that Sonde collected cash from the micro-finance bank on several occasions totaling N124 million which were not credited into the customer’s account.

Further investigations revealed that the defendant (Sonde) allegedly doctored emails which he sent to the micro-finance bank as monthly statements of account, while there was no remittance in the account.

In the same vein, two officials of the bank, identified as Walter Ekomaye and Ebenezer Adelowo, were also arraigned on January 19, 2018 for allegedly making illegal withdrawal of N23 million from customers’ accounts and stealing N17.5 million from Automated Teller Machine (ATM) deposits.

WEIRD!! 33Yrs Old Man Arrested For Raping His Neighbor’s Pregnant Goat.

A man in Winterveldt, South Africa appeared in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrate’s court on Tuesday, August 14, for allegedly molesting his neighbour’s pregnant goat.

The suspect who is 33-years-old would remain in custody until his next court appearance at a date still to be determined, according to police spokesperson Captain Samuel Sebola.

He was arrested on charges of bestiality on Friday morning after he allegedly raped the female goat the previous evening.

His neighbour, and owner of the goat, Knowledge Khumalo said he heard the goat making strange noises around 20:00 on the evening in question. When he woke up the next morning, he went to check in on the kraal and found the goat was missing.

“I went around the community looking for the goat without any success,” said Khumalo. “Later when I returned home, I found the goat was back. However, it looked unwell.”
As he was examining the goat, a man approached Khumalo and asked whether he was the goat’s owner.
“He then told me that he had been at the suspect’s shack that morning and had found the goat in his bed,” said Khumalo.

Community members, including CPF members, later converged at the suspect’s shack where they confronted him.
The man is said to be bricklayer by profession and was reportedly paid R4 500 earlier on the day of the alleged rape for work.

“He must have drank a lot,” said Khumalo.

Khumalo said he was shattered to see the raped goat in such a sad state.
“I felt I should have done something to protect the goat,” he said.
The goat has been taken in by the SPCA for medical treatment.
SPCA inspector Mishack Matlou said the incident was the “highest form of animal cruelty he has experienced”.
“As the SPCA, we want to call on the judiciary to take tough action against cases of cruelty against animals”

The miracle of ugu leaves(vegetables)

He was very sick and all efforts to revive him proved abortive. The nurses and doctors said the red blood cells in his body had depleted, yet they kept him in their custody. Is he really going to die because he doesn’t seem to be responding to treatment? Lost in thought, a mother sat at the reception, hoping for a miracle that would revive her child.

Feeling empathy towards the mother, one of the nurses approached. ‘Madam, if you don’t mind, can I talk to you briefly?’ She startled the woman who was already lost in thought.

‘It’s been two days since your boy was admitted here and from all indications, he is very short of blood. Apparently, you cannot afford pants of blood but I am definite you can afford vegetable.’ She noted

Surprised at the unwarranted insinuations of the nurse, the woman busted into tears.

The nurse became confused as she was only trying to help. Finally, the woman spoke, ‘So this seems like a joke to you eh? What is the correlation between a sick patient and vegetable? You must think I have the luxury of time to talk’, she responded.

The nurse only smiled heartedly and tried to calm her while also educating her.

‘Actually Madam, I was not trying to make a joke. I am very sure you know Ugu?’ She chipped in.

‘Yes! What about it? She asked curiously.

Happy to oblige, the nurse continued. ‘Do you know that when you wash the leaves and squeeze it, then mix the extract with milk, it serves as a supplement for red blood cells in the body? And that if you do that continuously for few days, it can revive your son in the absence of blood transfusion?’ She asked.

‘So, you mean squeezing Ugu and mixing the extract with milk would restore the red blood cells in my son?’ She questioned.

‘Yes, ma! In fact, it would also make his skin fresh and he would not look pale again.’

Obviously relieved, she asked if she could take her son home. The nurse advised against it but suggested she can go and prepare it while she monitors her son’s status.

Immediately, she rushed home.

Interestingly, there were various plantations in her compound, from vegetables of different kinds to pepper, plantain, banana, sugarcane etc. So she went to the Ugu quarters and cut some leaves, rinsed them and started squeezing. Afterwards, she added milk into a bowl containing the extract from the Ugu leaves.

Everything was set. So she hurried back to the hospital, met with the nurse and administered the Ugu leaves extract mixed with milk to her son.  She did this three times before the day ended.

Surprisingly, the following morning, her son was up and bubbling with energy. Not that he had any serious ailment but the injections and drugs he was given worsened his condition since his blood level was low.

Full of smiles, the woman said ‘So, we ended up paying hospital bills when the solution was right within!

Ugu is not only edible when prepared as a vegetable, there are other uses that are beneficial to the body. Also called Fluted pumpkin or pumpkin leaves and scientifically known as Telfairia Occidentalis, this vegetable is one of the nice vegetables that happen to be very low in calories, supplying just 26 Cal per 100g and it is free of saturated fats and cholesterol.

In fact, research shows that when the essential ingredients are very much intact, it has the capacity to increase the red blood cells within a short period of time after consumption. If you want to speed up the increase in the red corpuscles, you can mix it with beverages like malt drinks and milk. It is indeed a natural method to regain blood quickly.

What is more interesting about this vegetable is that aside its ability to grow almost anywhere, it is a very rich source of fibre, minerals, vitamins A, B6, C, protein, riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, folate, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and manganese, anti-oxidants and vitamins, flavonoid poly-phenolic antioxidants like lutein, xanthins and carote.

WONDERFUL BENEFIT OF OKRA

The health benefits of okra include its ability to improve digestive health and vision, boost skin health, protect infant health, prevent certain cancers, and strengthen bones. It also improves cardiovascular health, balances cholesterol levels, aids the immune system, lowers blood pressure, and protects heart health.

What Is Okra?
Okra is a flowering plant [1] that is known in many parts of the world as ladies’ fingers or bhindi and is most highly prized because of its seed pods. The scientific name of this interesting plant is Abelmoschus esculentus [2] and its origin is still unclear. Contrasting research says that it could have been South Asian, West African, or Ethiopian in origin, but the jury is still out.

Uses Of Okra
Okra is frequently used in dishes from the Caribbean to China, and its popularity is increasing all the time, particularly because of its various uses. This vegetable pod can be used as a pickled vegetable, or an ingredient in soups, and side dishes, and is also utilized for its oil, which can be extracted and used as a vegetable oil.

Okra Nutrition Facts
Okra may not be the most conventional vegetable in the garden, but it has a rich content [3] of vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, as well as calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, and zinc. Furthermore, okra contains high levels of mucilaginous fiber. Most of the health benefits of okra are due to the minerals, vitamins, and organic compounds found in it.

Health Benefits Of Okra
Let us discuss the various health benefits of okra in detail below.

Improves Digestion
Perhaps, the best part of adding okra to your diet is the significant increase it can have on your total fiber intake [4]. Mucilaginous fiber found in okra can help move food through your digestive tract by adding bulk. This means that bowel movements are more regular and there is a reduction in gastrointestinal issues such as bloating, cramping, constipation, and excess gas. Oddly, it also helps prevent diarrhea, because it adds bulk to watery stools. Further, its fiber content can help clear out excess cholesterol in the body and controls the rate at which sugar is absorbed into the body.

Improves Vision
Okra contains a very high content [5] of vitamin A, as well as antioxidant components like beta carotenes, xanthein, and lutein. Antioxidants are powerful compounds that destroy or neutralize free radicals, which are the dangerous byproducts of cellular metabolism. Free radicals are responsible for cell degradation in the body, including those responsible for vision. With high levels of okra in your diet, you can protect your eyes against macular degeneration and cataracts.

Skin Care
Vitamin A antioxidants are also able to protect [6] skin health, by promoting quicker healing, reducing the appearance of scars and acne, and eliminating wrinkles. This is because the antioxidants are able to neutralize the free radicals which may have damaged those skin cells.

Boosts Immunity
The various antioxidant components of okra make it very beneficial to fight off free radicals and the high vitamin C content also means that the body’s immunity is boosted. This vitamin can stimulate the immune system to create white blood cells, which can combat foreign pathogens and materials in the body that can weaken the immune system.

Lowers Blood Pressure
Okra is a good source of both vitamins and minerals, including potassium, which is an essential aspect of human health. Potassium is necessary to maintain proper fluid balance in the body because it balances sodium. Furthermore, potassium helps [7] relax the blood vessels and arteries, which reduces blood pressure and lessens the strain on the cardiovascular system. This means that the chances of clotting and atherosclerosis will be greatly reduced.

Word of Caution: One thing you do need to worry about while consuming okra is its high levels of oxalates.

6 Food That Causes Heart Disease Most People Ignore!

Heart disease is a major problem in the western world. It’s one of the major killers and usually something people can prevent. You need to choose a healthy diet and avoid foods that commonly increase the risk of developing heart disease at some point in life.

While there are many theories over certain foods causing heart disease, there are only some that have been scientifically proven. In fact, some of the theories haven’t been proven at all yet, with some studies showing no effect at all.

So, it’s time to get educated. It’s time to learn what you really need to either avoid or cut down on to help promote good heart health.
1. Cheesecake.

Let the sweet toothed beware; most cheesecakes will run up your calorie and fat intake. An especially risky choice is the Cheesecake Factory’s Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake, which packs a whopping 860 calories, 57g of fat, and 80g of carbohydrates per slice. The allure of this indulgence may be strong, but think twice before diving in.

Eat this:
If you have a hankering for cheesecake, opt for the plain variety. With 315 calories, 20g of fat, and 25g of carbohydrates, though it’s not a healthy choice, the plain cheesecake is less detrimental to your heart than its chocolaty cousin.

2. Fried chicken.
Fried food is a known cholesterol and fat powerhouse, but chicken sounds healthy. Four pieces of KFC’s Original Recipe Chicken comes with 920 calories, 63g of fat, 350mg of cholesterol—and that’s not including the fat-laden sides.
Eat this:
A grilled, skinless chicken breast is one of the most nutritional meats you can eat. At 120 calories, 1.5g of fat, and 70mg of cholesterol, a grilled chicken breast can make a tasty substitute for its fried, fat-loaded brethren.
3. Burgers.
Choosing the wrong burger can have big repercussions for your heart. McDonald’s famous Big Mac contains 540 calories, 29g of fat, and 1040mg of sodium. Even if you make your hamburgers at home, a three-ounce hamburger made with 80 percent-lean beef still has 14.8g of fat (5.6g saturated fat), and 76mg of cholesterol.

Eat this:
The best alternative for ground beef is ground turkey breast. It clocks in at an amazing 120 calories, 1g of fat (0g saturated), and 28g of protein per four-ounce burger. Add ground pepper, a pinch of cayenne, and a dash of salt to beef up your turkey burger.

4. Steak.
Yes, the steak. High amounts of saturated fat and cholesterol make red meat, particularly in large quantities, an unhealthy heart choice. A top sirloin cut of beef, raw, can run you 594 calories, 18.5g of fat (6.8g saturated fat), and 191mg of cholesterol. If you pan-fry it, you’ll add even more calories, cholesterol, and grams of fat.

Eat this:
Choosing the right cut of beef can prevent a lot of wear and tear on your arteries. The pricey filet mignon will cost you only 6.7g of fat (2.5g saturated fat), and 67mg of cholesterol. Filet mignon out of your price range? A T-bone steak is less-expensive healthy choice for your red meat cravings.

5. Doughnuts.
It’s probably no surprise that these breakfast blunders made the list of worst heart foods. However, few people know how terrible can be. Just one Krispy Kreme Creme Filled Chocolate Doughnut is a doozey: 20g of fat (5 saturated), 23g of sugar, and 38g of carbohydrates. It’ll take you an hour to walk off the damage.

Eat this:
Reach for instant oatmeal, which has been proven to lower the bad LDL cholesterol and boost your metabolism. Add some fresh berries for an excellent start to your day.

6.Ice cream.
It may evoke memories of your carefree childhood days, but ice cream is anything but innocent. Ben and Jerry’s best-selling flavor, Cherry Garcia, packs 14g of fat (10g saturated), and 22g of sugar for every ½ cup (approximately two scoops).

Eat this:
The obvious alternative to ice cream is frozen yogurt. The frozen yogurt version of Cherry Garcia contains half the calories .

The suspect is an indigene of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State and her three children, including Rilwan, are fathered by three different men.

While the father of the deceased child, Olalekan Asore, claimed Rilwan was killed, the suspect said the kid died at her boyfriend’s residence in Ajegunle during a visit.

Odubayo, a 30-year-old hairdresser, told Saturday PUNCH that she threw the corpse into the well out of confusion.

She said Rilwan had a hole in the heart which made him to gasp for breath occasionally.

She claimed that the complication recurred around 11pm on Monday while she was with the kid at her boyfriend’s residence in Ajegunle.

She said, “I gave birth to him on the road on my way to a hospital. He started gasping while she was six months old and I took him to Ikorodu General Hospital.

I was told that he had a hole in the heart and that I would need about N1.5m to carry out a surgery on him in India.

“I was calling his father and telling him about our child’s case for one year, but he did not show up. I even told his sister about it.

“On July 30, I went to visit my boyfriend, Ola, and took Rilwan along with me. While I was waiting for Ola to come back from work, he started gasping again.

I held him to my chest, but he did not survive it. I didn’t know what to do. I was confused. I threw his corpse inside the well because I didn’t know what to tell his father.

“I have two other children – a boy and a girl. I cannot kill my own child. Why should I kill him?”

But Rilwan’s father, Olalekan, stated that his estranged lover never told him that their son was suffering from a heart-related ailment, claiming that the boy was killed.

The 32-year-old, who said he always gave Odubayo money for Rilwan’s upkeep, explained that his sister also assisted whenever he did not have money for his upkeep.

While lamenting that he regretted his relationship with the suspect, the technician said he never knew she had borne two children until she became pregnant for him.

He said, “I am a technician. I usually work at Abeokuta, Ogun State and it can take me weeks before I return to Lagos.

Anytime I come back, I always give her money to take care of our child.

“She called me last week and asked where I was. I told her I was at Abeokuta and promised to see her when I came back.

On Wednesday morning, I went to her house, but I did not meet her. I was leaving when her mother called me back.

“She directed me to her son, Taiye, who told me my son had died and had been buried in Ikorodu. I was shocked and wondered what could have happened to him.

“Meanwhile, there was a time the man (Taiye) confronted me for not coming to visit my son.

He said if my son died, he would throw his body away. My son was killed. Why didn’t they allow me or my sister to see his corpse before he was buried?”

Olalekan stated that Folashade used to call him that Rilwan was admitted to a hospital, but said he would not meet her and the boy on getting to the hospital.

“If I called her on getting to the hospital, she would say my son had just been discharged.

I would go home to check on the boy, but I would not see any sign of sickness in him.

She forced me to pay N10,000 for the treatment.

The month of July witnessed a shocking drama as six pupils—one male and five females alleged of witchcraft confessed uncontrollably in Danjuma area of Akure. How did the little girls among which the oldest were ten years of age get initiated as witches remained a repeated question that took over the atmosphere of the scene.#
Popular Ibadan based presenter "Omo Edema" ns’ news wing gathered that Idayat, one of the oldest among the six, while being interviewed by Omo Edema, confessed to have initiated her sister and the four others into witchcraft. How did she come about witchcraft? She said an elderly woman neighbour in their pervious house initiated her a long time ago.
“I can’t remember the year I was initiated into witchcraft, but can remember I joined them in the house we were living before at Idole, Akure.
“One day a little girl like me then came to me and said I should accompany her somewhere which I obliged. She took me to an elderly woman where they gave me biscuit and groundnuts. I ate them there. Immediately I finished eating those things, they commanded me to go and begin to bring people’s glories to them”, Idayat said.
When she was asked how many glories had she been able to submit to them, she said she only took the glories of her parents to them.
“I have not collected many glories. I have only taken the glories of my mother and father to them”, Idayat said without mincing words.

In her shocking revelations, the alleged witch confessed that a neighbour and member of the group identified as Unice had collected the glories of the whole house—an upstairs said to be about twenty rooms.
“I didn’t touch anybody in this house. Unice was the one who collected their glories. I and Unice are highly ranked in our coven. We both possessed four different birds each in our bellies”, Idayat confessed.
Confirming the possibility of Idayat’s confession, one of the landladies of the house, Mrs Aregbe said her tenants used to pay their rents on time in the past, but this year had been different.
“My tenants used to pay their rents on time before, but this year has been different. In fact, I have been contemplating quit notice to serve them. But now I will do everything possible to get to the root of this matter”, the landlady said.
As if whipping a child for wrong doing was a serious offence against their kingdom, Idayat said all the witchcraft birds in her belly were used for afflicting her parents for punishing her for her wrong doings.
“The first bird in my belly is used for troubling my mother for punishing me for my wrong doings. The second one is used for pushing my mother into heavy debt. The third one is used to invoke misfortune on my father while the fourth bird is used for sending my father out of his matrimonial home”, she said.
The daughter of a Muslim cleric (Alfa) said they normally converge for their witchcraft meetings at available uncompleted buildings.

Idayat’s younger sister, Kudirat also confessed to be a member of the group. According to her, she also concentrated her wicked afflictions on her parents too.
The mother of the duo, Anuoluwapo had earlier spoken with Omo Edema and blamed the matter on the father of the children who she said had failed in his true parenting. The mother of three confirmed.
