STUDENT MADE TO REMOVE HER BRA OVER FEAR OF EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE
An Indian student said she was made to remove her bra in public by school authorities over exam cheating fears.
Authorities issued strict dress codes to tackle widespread cheating on the entrance test for India's prestigious medical college.
But there is no mention of bras on this year’s prohibited articles list which includes dark clothes, long sleeves, brooches, badges, closed shoes and socks.
The student, who has not been identified, told media she was at the test centre in Kerala state on Sunday when a metal detector started to beep during a security check.
“At that time, they told that without removing my innerwear I cannot enter the exam hall since they (bra hooks) are made of metal. So, I took off my bra there itself and gave it to my mom, she was waiting outside,” the student told NDTV news network.
The girl was quoted in The Times of India as saying that she lost all her “confidence and composure when I was asked to remove it in front of everybody”.
Another student’s parent said his daughter was forced to remove the button on her jeans after it set off the metal detector.
“She was sent back, she came back and told me ‘Papa, the jeans button has to be removed, the button is an objectionable item’. Promptly I removed the button,” the father told NDTV.
“Then I went to a shop about three kilometres from the exam centre and bought a new dress for her after getting the shop opened.”
The school principal said he was unaware of the student’s underwear ordeal but admitted his school stuck to the rules.
“We have clear instructions that if the metal detector beeps, no one can be allowed inside. Whenever it beeped, we told students to remove what they have,” Jalaluddin K. told NDTV.
Cheating in exams is common in India including paying large bribes to buy test papers, although there have been more elaborate ruses.
Hundreds of people were arrested in eastern Bihar state in 2015 for scaling the walls of schools and providing crib sheets and study materials to their relatives during exams.

Two big rats were recently spotted hanging from the Ceiling at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos state.
The rodents which were still alive as at the time they were spotted, were filmed swinging from electric wires at the check-in counters.
It was posted online with the caption: "This is our Murtala International Airport with rats waiting to collect their boarding passes. I thought the Airport was recently refurbished.
First, it was leaking now infested by rats. I hope God is not mad at us as a Nation and has totally washed His hand off our case. Can someone tell me which way forward with Nigeria before I totally go crazy"

3 FEARS TO OVERCOME TO BE SUCCESSFUL
In this era of accelerating change, tremendous competition and overwhelming complexities, you often wish to showcase to the world the vast amount of potential which you have. However, somewhere along the line, you fail to gather the required courage and confidence. You become afraid, thinking about the unpredictable future which you would have to face if you take some stern actions in your present.
Why is it that we do not want to get out of our comfort zone and reach out to greatness? Contrary to the common perception, it’s not that we like to confine ourselves to easy things, but rather we are so scared to step out and face the uncertainty, that we never attempt to get out of it.
The following are the 3 fears which you need to overcome if you have a desire for a great life:
1. Fear of the Unknown
According to the scientific studies, our human mind is designed to remain in it’s comfort zone and is not allowed to meander out of it. This is the reason why we have to face a lot of resistance mentally while treading an unknown path. But it is also a universal fact that no great achiever ever did something out of the box while sitting on the couch, having some potato chips and watching T.V.
If you want to be successful, then you’ve got to do what Robert Frost says, “Take the road less travelled”. I believe that the comfort of easiness is far more dangerous than the fear of the unknown. Transcend your fears, shatter your limits and go as far as you can to see what life has in store for you.
“Many times, the thought of fear itself is greater than what it is we fear.” –
IdowuKoyenikan
2. Fear of Failure
This is the most commonly believed reason for the cessation of one’s progress. You never try to get ahead of where you are, because you don’t want to lose what you’ve already earned. It always insinuates the ‘What If’ element into your mind. What if I could never be better than the person standing next to me? What if I try and I fail? What if I lose everything?
I strongly believe that you could never become the person you’ve dreamt to be if you don’t take advantage of the chances which life presents to you on a regular basis. You’ve got to think about the opportunities and not the obligations. You’ve got to acknowledge the fact that failure is the stepping stone towards success and therefore you must embrace it. If you want to be successful, then whatever task you have, make sure you go all in and please, don’t count the cost and just do it.
3. Fear of Success
Controversial subheading? Perhaps. But I think it’s true. Many people know that they have the ability to pull off a specific task, but they still don’t do it. You know why? Because they don’t want to be burdened by the pressure of future expectations by others. They get petrified thinking about the high expectations which comes with the gratification of a task.
Now, for real, do you think that you can get to great heights just by continuously operating at the same level? Do you think Steve Jobs could have made the iPhone had there been no pressure on him to introduce a better version of it every time it shows up in the market? Either pressure will break you, or it will allow itself to be your breakthrough.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” –Winston Churchill

MANCHESTER CITY CONTINUES THEIR SIGNING SPREE TO SIGN DEFENDER MENDY FOR €50M.
Manchester City have continued their defender spending spree with the arrival of Benjamin Mendy from Monaco.
The left-back has signed a five-year deal after joining for a reported fee of around £50million, becoming Pep Guardiola's third full-back arrival in 10 days after Kyle Walker from Tottenham and Danilo from Real Madrid.
Chelsea were also interested in Mendy, and were willing to pay a similar fee after missing out on Danilo, but will now focus on alternative options such as Southampton pair Ryan Bertrand and Cedric Soares.
"I am absolutely delighted to be joining Manchester City," Mendy told City's official website. "They are one of Europe’s leading Clubs and in Pep Guardiola they have a manager committed to playing attacking football.
"I am sure that over the next few years we will be successful." Chelsea retain an interest in Alex Sandro, but face a tougher task to lure him away from Juventus following Leonardo Bonucci's move to AC Milan

COUNTRIES WHERE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS USELESS
In which areas of the world is English most useless?
The EF English Proficiency Index answers this question very directly. Here is a map of the results that were published in 2015:
You may view the complete list here: EF English Proficiency Index - Wikipedia
Previous answers about Eastern Europe are accurate in my experience. From traveling for the past 14 months through 18 countries on 4 continents, I'd add a few extra problematic countries for travelers who only know English:
China - Of course there are loads of people who speak English in China, but good luck finding them. My wife and I travelled there for 2 months and I don't think we ever found somebody who spoke English when we were looking for them. They would come and find us sometimes though. I guess the best bet would be just to look especially lost and wait for somebody to come to you.
Sudan - In Khartoum many of the well-dressed young people speak very good English, as well as pretty much all waiters (some of them don't even speak Arabic), but, as soon as you get away from the capital almost nobody knows English, including the police.
Ethiopia - Just don't expect anybody on the street to know any more English than “you, you, you", which they always seem to love to yell at foreigners, and the occasional “give me money".
Myanmar - Pretty much the same as Ethiopia. Almost no English anywhere.
Brazil - I speak Portuguese, so it's not an issue for me, but my wife doesn't, so it has become quite clear that a very low percentage of people speak English well in Brazil. Actually, that's how I learned Portuguese in the first place because there were so few people that could understand me otherwise the first time I visited.

Biafra: What Buhari should have done to Nnamdi Kanu - Yerima Shettima

The leader of Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF, Yerima Shettima has said that the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is being influenced by hard drugs and as a result, behaves like a madman.
Shettima said his recent decision to force Igbos out of the Northern region of the country was reached solely because of activities and comments by the IPOB leader against Nigeria, the North and president Muhammadu Buhari.
The AYCF leader, who recently asked Igbos in the North to ignore the quit notice he earlier issued to them, told the Sun that Nnamdi Kanu was getting out of hands.
He said, “This man [Kanu] came from nowhere. He is never our class in struggles. I don’t know where he started his struggle, but he came out and within one year and suddenly because unfortunately the government made it easy for him to become popular; otherwise, Kanu is not an issue.”
Shettima said the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration made a big mistake when his governmnet arrested Nnamdi Kanu.
He further blamed, “The government to an extent; to have even in the first place arrested this man, somebody who is being influenced by drugs.
“Who is Kanu in the circle of struggles? So to me it is high time when somebody behaves like a mad man and you behave like a gentleman you realize that this gentleman is getting out of hand undermining everybody, abusing everybody.
“You cannot… I am proudly a northerner and that’s my identity. I cannot be a leader at my level and allow this man to be talking and abusing the sensibilities of my people and you expect me to fold my hands. As a leader of the youths, it’s impossible.
“We cannot fold our hands when after Jonathan government, no organization like IPOB came on board to abuse that government, now suddenly because we have a government of northern extraction under the leadership of Muhammadu Buhari we fold our hands and allow somebody to undermine that government and abuse the sensibility .We did everything, even MASSOB found it difficult to manage the young man the way he is going about it.
“A man who few years ago Ralph Uwazurike employed to work for him suddenly became a tiger and became a tool against the collective interest of the Igbo. Now, nobody can control him. Even the governors and the Eastern leaders this boy has succeeded in holding them to ransom. They are scared of talking for fear of attack from those jobless youths around him.
“Suddenly they folded their hands. And you expect us other Nigerians to fold our hands when somebody who has dual citizenship is trying to mess up the country?
“From UK to come and mess up the country? No, we’ll ensure that we protect the integrity of Nigeria to make sure that we remain together. No; this is unacceptable.
“My recent decision was borne out of frustration with this young man who goes around abusing my identity, my community, my people, undermining a country called Nigeria. I am a strong Nigerian, proudly a Nigerian.
